What is the Home and School Association?

Westpark Elementary Home and School is a not-for-profit association comprised of a group of dedicated parent volunteers working in collaboration with the school’s administrative body and its teachers towards one common goal: Enhancing our children’s educational experience and learning environment!

Who can be on the Home and School Association

We are always looking for volunteers and helping hands. Our committee meets once a month on the third Tuesday of every month in the school library. These meetings give our volunteers an opportunity to discuss upcoming fundraisers and allocation of funds.

Membership

There is a $20 annual fee for a Home and School membership. This fee gives you the right to vote at our meetings, includes the opportunity to receive Quebec Federation of Home and School Association (QFHSA) materials, and attend QFHSA conferences and programs.

If you would like to join Home and School, please contact us at: westparkhomeandschool@gmail.com.

Grad Parent Committee

The Grad Parent Committee falls under the umbrella of our Home & School and is made up each year of parents of our graduating students. This committee includes at least one member of the school’s administration and at least one grade 6 teacher. Together we discuss, coordinate and support various activities and fundraisers that support our graduation class each year.
